JSONs (JavaScript Object Notations) are a lightweight, text‑based data format used to store and exchange structured information between systems. It is easy for humans to read and write, and easy for machines to parse and generate, which makes it one of the most widely used formats in modern APIs, web applications, integrations, and data pipelines.
JSON represents data using key–value pairs, arrays, and nested structures, making it ideal for configuration files, event logs, clickstream data, API responses, and application‑to‑application data exchange.
